I love a good sticker when I see one
It’s the little ideas that really jump out at you at times.
On a recent visit to LegoLand the staff were handing out free “lost child” stickers. Essentially they are stickers that you put on your child’s back with your mobile number (see pic).

Our kids love Legoland and so do I. There is so much to do and see. Last weekend the attraction opened for the 2011 season and as you would expect it was packed. Children were out in beautiful spring weather enjoying themselves and gazing with awe at all the wonders in front of them.
I know from experience that it is very easy for your child to wander off. So having a sticker attached to their coat with my mobile number does give some peace of mind.
Child Safety Stickers
Okay, so not all theme parks or visitor attractions will have kids stickers, so what can you do.
There are two options available to you – SafetyTats or ID Bracelets.
SafetyTats are fun tatoos that go onto your childs arm. They are hypoallergenic, waterproof and NON-permanent.
1 sticker cost £12.00

just peel 'n stick
An ID Bracelet is more visible, easier to remove, but perhaps not as much fun,
The ID bracelet pack costs £9.19 and contains 10 stickers

Let us know
We want every theme park in the UK to offer this service. To me this is a basic necessity. It would help shorten the distress that children suffer when they are accidently separated from their party’s.
So if you are out and about this half term please let us know if there is an attraction that is not offering these type of stickers – we may be able to help them out :)
Whatever you are doing this half term, I hope you and your children have a good break.

don't get lost - but make a plan in case
There are some important guidelines to remember when festival camping that can ensure your safety and comfort while maximizing the fun. Most of these are common sense, but losing a child in a festival crowd is a terrifying experience and sometimes unavoidable. 90% of families will experience losing a child in a public place. So sit down with your kids and make a game plan – just in case!
SafetyTats are a fantastic NEW product from Simply Stuck. We often joked that it would be great to label the kids, and now you can!

just peel 'n stick You stick the tattoo directly to the child’s skin and write your mobile number onto it with the pen provided! So should you become separated from your child, you can easily and quickly be reunited. They are waterproof, hypoallergenic and last for up to 2 weeks! make sure your child knows what to do if lost
DON’T FORGET to think about your mobile phone charger – there are some great solar chargers out there, and spare batteries are always a good idea!![]()

Decking the halls with Christmas Decorations Stickers starts in December.
For me the process starts with buying the tree. We pack up the kids into the car, Wellington boots included, and head off to a local farm. Here we squash around a muddy field humming and hawing about this tree and that.
Each tree is merited for height, bushiness, length of the pine needles and general prospect of being buffeting off the roof of the car.
When we get home Christmas decorating really starts.
Boxes are unpacked from the attic and all dusted down ready for the festivities.

Christmas traditions are important in our house. I’m not pretending that they are easy to maintain. Last year was incredibly hectic for all the wrong reasons.
But, this year we are looking to revive the hanging of the Christmas Stocking. We have two young children who very much believe in Father Christmas. We try and take the time as a family to hang our Christmas stockings either side of the fire place – with the usual caveat that you have to be good for Father Christmas to make an appearance, etc, etc. etc.
The hope is that these festive traditions somehow instil a sense of family and togetherness amongst our small unit. And that even when little people grow into little adults we still continue to make it a family occasion.
Personalised Christmas Stocking
I think a good fireplace Christmas decoration is important. This year we are selling a personalised Christmas stocking sticker.
This is a great sticker for Christmas, personalised with your child’s name.
It comes available in 3 patterns;
- Snowflake
- Star
- Christmas tree (red on white)
It is removable, re-useable and is 29cmn’s high.
Personalised Christmas Stocking Sticker costs – £8.00
I know it’s a bit early. But all of us Simply Stuck wish you all a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. More Christmas Stickers can be found here.
